Vancouver was, without exaggeration, amazing. The conference was encouraging, intelligent and fantastically interesting all at once. The conference was held for two days at the Westin Bayshore (yes, it's on the shore of the bay, and yes, it's an amazing view), and then moved to the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design (ECIAD) on Granville Island. Emily Carr was a fantastic experience in itself. I met a great bunch of very cool students, got a real feel for West Coast design, and enjoyed myself thoroughly. With the exception of one night where far too much Mission Hill red was involved.
Photos soon. Possibly tonight once I get home. Failing that, they'll be up after Toronto and New York.
