10 months ago, I was in India. A few days ago, I came across this photo, taken by my brother, and found myself longing desperately to go back. It was a hell of a trip, in both the literal and figurative sense of the expression. Ask me sometime, and I'll tell you about huddling around a candle for warmth, being terribly ill, and falling in love with my culture.

How Lego is Made

POP has put together an absolutely brilliant interactive piece about how Lego bricks are made, and packaged. It's a combination of Flash animation and video, and it's really well done.

Check it out. You won't regret it.

And while you're over on that webspace, you may as well check out their highly, highly addictive game called Openhouse. You have to put couches together, preferrably with matching fabric, around tables to score high points. Sound dumb? It's not. Will it suck a good hour or two of your life? Oh yes.

And you think you watch a lot of movies? Think you're smart? Alright, then give Cinema Sequence a whirl. I'm not going to try and explain it, but it's challenging and very clever.

Fun design stuff soon, not just links. Promise.

Times Square, NY

Woah. The monkey is going to have to get a girlfriend or a hobby, otherwise there might be regular updates to this site.

Good Lord! What's going on with all these updates? Some photos from New York City, including some nice bits from Doors Open.

I was chatting with a friend tonight and sent her a self-portrait I shot last night at around 2 am. Despite the file name, and this little blurb which I messaged her:

"Dear Chin,

It's been three years. I miss you. Come back to me?

...the photo seemed to lack the impact I had hoped it would have. Needless to say, once I corrected her that Chin is not the name of an Asian girl I know, she got it alright. ;)
