ESC: Live

My friend Matt and I just put the finishing touches on a site for one of the most respected Canadian academic journals in English Studies. We got to do some pretty cool stuff, including some hot, sustainable, Flash slideshow-action which draws from an XML file (code courtesy of Todd Dominey of What Do I Know).

U of A: Recognize!

The University of Alberta just published this article about some of the work I've been doing for the past two years. Specifically, Scrawl, a digital collection of graffiti from around the world.

Go check it out kids, because some of those quotes have been slightly mashed, and they make me sound pretty dumb. I mean funny. I mean smart. They make me sound smart.

Thank you. Thank you very much.

Despite the fact that I've had new hair for some time, I hadn't actually drawn an updated monkey until recently. As my friend Matt put it: "Dude! It's like Brown-Elvis."

Zot.

See that little explosion? The Zot one? Yeah, that's the elusive job that every time I get close, a Dalek exterminates it.

Self employment/unemployment is killing me folks.

Return.

Back in Toronto after a rather sleepless ten days in Edmonton. Back to find that the renovations which were supposed to happen while I was away did not happen at all. Back to find that some BASTARD jerkwad stole my Brie out of my fridge.

I have my suspects. They will pay.

The Havarti was untouched.
